i will miss you, Papa....

My brother called me last night around 830pm. He said that Papa was found dead in his apartment. It hasnt hit me yet. Im still trying to get the story from all my aunts and uncles but NO ONE IS ANSWERING THEIR PHONES! I went to work today thinking it would help me get my mind off of things and its so not. Im taking off the rest of the week. When B gets home we are picking my mom up and going to find the family.

Worst Monday EVER!

weekend recap

This weekend was nice. Friday B didnt get home til about 715 so we scratched the movies idea. We tried to decide what to do and we ended up just sitting in bed and watching tv. It was very relaxing.
Saturday I made B call his mom to wish her happy bday and see where she wanted to go to dinner. They ended up coming to our house so we made this huge sprawl of food. It was so good. I was proud of myself.
Sunday was a family baptism. It was nice. It was good to see family again.

Im excited for this weekend. We are going to see Mary Poppins!!!

So happy its FRIDAY!

Im so happy its Friday! This week has dragged on and on. Maybe because B hasnt been home til about 1030 every night. It sucks. Hes not working this weekend either! YAY!
We are having a little date night tonight. Im so excited. We are going to the movies and probably dinner too. I want to go see "I Love You, Man". Hes excited because its not a "chick flick".
I started the Thank You's from the wedding. Uh I got about 30 of them done. Only 90 or so to go! The dog was acting up last night so I had to stop. She just wanted to be loved all night. She curled up next to me and was good.
I watched the new show In The Motherhood. Its about real life moms stories. It was freakin hilarious, half of AI and Greys last night by myself. I was bawling at Greys. When dont I though.
Ive been craving mexican food like crazy this past week and a half. B thinks im pregnant. I laughed and hes said hed be super happy if we were but we werent planning on getting pregnant yet. Im either getting phantom symptoms of pregnancy or early pms signs. Its still WAY too early to tell. We will just have to wait and see.....

my car is fixed!

My car is fixed! Im so happy. Of course, it was a nice chunk of change to fix it but nonetheless, it had to be done. I liked taking off 2 days to get to sleep in and it felt nice. B told me that when Im pregnant I can be a SAHM! Im so excited about that! Woot!

B got into an accident yesterday morning. It wasnt his fault. Some drunk ass decided to cut across THREE lanes to turn left and he crossed Bs frint end and took out his tire. Great. What more do we need?! Oy.

I hope we get the tax money soon. Id like to book our vacation some time this century! My SD seems to be holding it for ransom. Well we know next year we are not going through him for it.

weekend recap

This weekend was nice.
Friday I went to B's parents for dinner and his uncle and a few close friends were there. B met me there since he worked late.
Saturday B worked in the AM and I lounged a bit then did some laundry. He was home by 1130 so we went out to lunch and BBB. We had bowling at night. Im so happy there are only 3 more left! Thank God. Its getting kinda boring. My S/D brought up that he wanted to take Bs tax return and use it to pay off the loan from our wedding. B almost flipped right then and there. We are using that money to go on our HM. If he takes it, then no HM for us.... He either wants all of it or half. We said we would do monthly payments and he said NO. Blah. Its fristrating. So I dont know where the HM sits now...
Sunday we lounged til about 11. Then we went to the mall to look (and play) with the iphones. We are getting them on April 15 when our Sprint contract is up. Im soo excited. Its a gift to each other as we tell each other. After we were done playing B dropped me off at church and me, his mom and her friend met another few friends and had girls day. It was very nice. We went to lunch and made jewelry. Very relaxing. B met us back at his moms later that night and we went to dinner with a friend of ours (she was at girls day too) and then came back to our house and watched Keeping Up With The Kardashians. It was a nice weekend all in all.

I love FF!

Ive been having issues with finding the correct lotion. My skin has been so dry. I have used numerous brands and nothing seems to have worked... until today. I bought Aveeno Baby Calming Comfort lotion and it worked! No dry skin so far and its been on for almost 3 hours. Woot Woot!

Oh another note, Ive been temping and charting to get into the hang of things. FF told me today that I O'd on CD10. Im currently on CD13 (3DPO). Since this is the first month trying to figure out the charting, Im liking all the tools it tells me. For instance, if we did concieve the baby would be due on Dec 7. Thats so surreal for me to read. Or that we had sex at the optimal time frame. Or even when I should take a pregnancy test. Its just so cool how far technology has come these days.

B has been working like crazy. The only time we really get to see and talk to each other more then 5 minutes is when we go to bed. Dinners together are starting to become few and far between. Im happy that hes working though. His field is so up and down with lay offs that he could come home anyday and tell me hes laid off for the week/month(s). So I just suck it up and be happy.

Im planning on going back to school in the fall. Im really excited and nervous at the same time. Its only part time but at least I will be trying to help myself and get a better job then the current one.

another wedding in the works....

B's coworkers ,and good friends of ours, got engaged on Friday! We have all been waiting for them to get engaged. They are such a cute couple. I cant wait to see her! Im so happy for them!

New Job Needed ASAP!

Its offical... I hate my job!
I work with a beotch. She is the chiefs secetary and all she does it walk around the department and talk to people and then go through the fridge and throw out peoples lunches bc there name and date isnt on them. WTF?!

I dont have any work to do throughout the day. I do payroll and make copies THATS IT! So I spend my 8 hour day (which after that is more like 7 hours) to go on thenest and thebump and now blogging.

Im going back to school for a pharmacy technician in the fall. I hope thats a bit more fast paced then this.

Oy I cant wait for our honeymoon. It could not come fast enough!

First Post...

Well lets see where to start...

DH and I got married on Feb 14 2009. We get the same question every day "has anything changed??". Um no. When you are together for 8 years and lived in the same vacinity for 2 years nothing really changes (in our case at least).

We have a dog, a puggle. She is going to be 2 in July (July 4 to be exact). She is the greatest. She was really hyper at first but shes finally starting to calm down. The vet says its normal for her breed to be hyper longer then usual so we just roll with it and enjoy it.

Even though weve been married for only a wee bit over a month, its the greatest thing in the world thus far. We have talked about everything. Our newest topic of conversation is babies. We decided that since I only have 4 more refills on my Nuva Ring then thats when we will begin trying.

We havent gone on our honeymoon yet bc DHs work schedule is CRAZY overtime right now and since the wedding. I dont want to take that away from him to go on vacation. We decided that our honeymoon will be in the summer when they slow down a bit. We are going to sunny Riveira Maya, Mexico! Im so excited. Ive never been anywhere let alone out of the US. This fits perfectly into our baby plan too. We are thinking of leaving for our honeymoon at the end of June. So when we return, bring on the TTC!

Ive already bought a few books to get my knowledge of TTC going. They include: TCOYF, Belly Laughs, and I have preordered the newest verison of What to Expect... its What to Expect Before Youre Expecting. I cant wait to start reading it!
